TulsaCodeCamp Tomorrow!

TulsaCodeCamp

This is going to be an incredible weekend for .NET! While the rest of the world will be flocking to TED or SXSW, the real developers will descend on Tulsa for the first ever Tulsa Code Camp. Of course Tulsa is no noob to tech events. Last October they hosted the, now infamous, TulsaTechFest. This Saturday is shaping up to have a similar outcome.

Presenters? Check out this line up! David Walker (president of the TulsaDeveloper.NET group and organizer TulsaTechFest) has pulled together another incredible group of speakers: Marc Mercuri from Microsoft, Claudio Lassala from EPS Software (The publishers of CoDe Magazine), Robert Boedigheimer lead architect from The Schawn Food Company, Keith Nicholson from KSDynamics, Raymond Lewallen (of CodeBetter fame) and BJ Pohl from Geniant and the Guerilla Programmer himself Jake Watkins.

Topics?! Check out these topics! LINQ, Windows Workflow, Multithreading, IIS7, ASP.NET Adapters, OO Design and Development, Windows Presentation Foundation, Design Patterns, BizTalk, C# 3.0.

I’ll be there to shoot some interviews for CommunityCast.tv. I’m especially looking forward to interviewing Marc Mercuri, hopefully he’ll be able to clear up some questions that came out of the conversations last night after the Dallas DNUG .NET 3.0 Community Launch. (Tim Rayburn loves WCS, but he wants Microsoft to convince him that it’s not the step child to the rest of .NET – is there a real managed WCS provider anywhere! I hope to get that answered tomorrow by the man that should know!)
